Ellen Davis, Artist

For many years, I crafted a variety of items from wood, including bowls, pens, keychains, and bottle stoppers. 

After a long hiatus, I returned to drawing and painting, learning to embrace creativity and express myself freely. 

Now, I use watercolors, acrylics, gesso, paper, metal, wood, ink, and various mixed media to create beautiful abstract works. 

I am truly enjoying this artistic journey.

I believe my art training began the day I was born. My grandmother was an artist and the walls of our home were covered with paintings from her and several other artists. I studied art through my first year of college and then started again several years ago. My work now is mostly watercolors, mixed-media and imagination.
