Ellen Davis, Artist

About 10 years ago I started turning wood. Making bowls, pens, carving spoons, and many other items. Then began drawing and painting, again. I work with watercolors,  mixed media, acrylics, paper, metal, wood, and I'm loving it.

I work with several different mediums. My primary works are in watercolors, mixed media, and collage. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

I believe my art training began the day I was born. My grandmother was an artist and the walls of our home were covered with paintings from her and several other artists. I studied art through my first year of college and then started again a few years ago. My work now is mostly watercolors, mixed-media and imagination.
